Supermodels show off their haute couture at V&A's fashion party

When you're invited to a party to celebrate the 'golden age of couture' you can't turn up in just any old thing.

Unless it's vintage, of course.

In her classic gold satin gown with a 3ft train, Kate Moss was a picture of old fashioned glamour as she arrived at the Victoria and Albert museum in London last night.

After a strained moment when a fellow partygoer stood on her train, Miss Moss glided into the exhibition of couture pieces from Paris and London in the decade from 1947.

While some of fashion's most lavish materials were on show inside the museum, there was plenty to look at outside as well.
