Men attacked after being mistaken for thieves

Three men who went to meet a woman at the Xi'an railway station were beaten after the woman mistook them for thieves.

At the request of the woman's former classmate, the three men greeted her at the station, but the woman, not recognizing the strangers, thought she was being robbed and cried for help.

A passing do-gooder answered the call for help and began beating the three men before the police arrived.

The police called the classmate who confirmed the identity of the three men and the woman and good Samaritan both apologized.
