Woman seeking to get pregnant cons old man

An elderly single man who thought he was helping a young woman become pregnant was conned out of 3,400 yuan ($497) in Haikou, capital of Hainan province.

Surnamed Yang, the 67-year-old reached out to the 28-year-old woman, who took an ad out seeking a man to get her pregnant.

After chatting on the phone, the woman said Yang was the right candidate and that she would give him 200,000 yuan if he would pay for various charges in advance. He did exactly that and has not heard from her since.
