Juicy tooth gives old man coughing fits for a night

Doctors discovered that a 66-year-old man, who was having coughing fits shortly after eating a watermelon, had in fact swallowed his false tooth with the fruit.

The elderly man thought he was having a cold Wednesday when he started coughing bitterly after swallowing a piece of watermelon.

He was eventually taken to the hospital in Anshan, Liaoning province, the next morning until doctors extracted a 2-cm long false tooth from his lungs.
