Wild mushroom soup poisons five, 1 dead

Five people in Qijiang county, Chongqing municipality, were poisoned, with one of them dead and another battling for life, after they consumed a bowl of mushroom soup on Saturday.

According to Xiong Yongbi, 61, her grandchildren went to the neighbor's house for dinner and had to be rushed to the hospital thereafter.

You Taiwang, 5, died of poisoning, while his elder sister You Taixia, 12, is battling for life.

The couple living next door and their kid are recuperating in hospital.
