Horror story to be printed on toilet roll

A Japanese author has announced that his latest novella is being printed on toilet paper.

Koji Suzuki decided to team up with Hayashi Paper Corp after completing work on his nine-chapter horror story Drop.

The spooky tale is set in a public bathroom and centres around an evil spirit which lives in a toilet bowl.

Billed as "a horror experience in the toilet", Drop takes up approximately 90 centimetres of a roll and is expected to sell for 210 yen (£1.38).

Suzuki is best known for his supernatural novel Ring, which spawned several film adaptations.
