8-year-old gets praise for saving her mom

A woman surnamed Chen is doing well after she accidentally spilled sulphuric acid on herself.

The woman's 8-year-old daughter dialed the medical hotline in Lingshan of Hainan province on Monday after she realized what occurred.

Chen's head was seriously injured after she broke a bottle of sulphuric acid while cleaning the house.

Chen's daughter dialed the hotline and an ambulance rushed her to the hospital where she is recovering.
