A farmer who comes from a poor family in Tongzhou, Beijing, is so obsessed about creating robots that he's built 26 of them using borrowed money.

Now, Wu Yulu, who only has a grade school education, turned his family's rural courtyard into a research institute. He's been invited to show off his inventions at some related exhibitions in Beijing and neighboring provinces.

He started to devote his attention to robots since childhood and was ridiculed by his family until 1979 when he finished his first robot made with waste materials he collected.

Ever since, he never gave up his goal of turning his hobby into a career.
