Sick vulture suddenly falls in front of ranger

A female forest ranger in Yanqing, Beijing, was startled when a giant vulture fell down in front of her.

She called in experts who concluded that the 1-m-tall bird is a vulture, a protected species, and they sent it to the Beijing Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation Center for recovery.

After it was fed, the bird was doing well. It will be released back into the wild once it's fully recovered.
