Cheating hubby contracts case of severe paranoia

After a one-night stand with a cyber friend, an adulterous husband worried so much about contracting a venereal disease he spent more than 9,000 yuan ($1,300) for secret treatment at an unlicensed clinic in a bid to protect his privacy.

Three months later, he grew thin and had to be examined at a public hospital in Harbin, capital of Heilongjiang province, where doctors found he had never caught a VD.

"Suspicious patients like him or people at high risk of VD should have not treated such diseases in unlicensed clinics where they could get nothing helpful but have their money wasted and treatment delayed if they really got into such trouble," they warned.

Man obsessed with dancer phones in bomb scares

To retaliate against a woman who had shunned him, a man kept crying wolf by telling police there were bombs in the nightclub she worked at until he was taken into custody for disturbing the peace.

Jiang, 43, met the dancer months ago, fell in love and kept visiting her at work until she got sick of him and refused to date him after he had stopped her making money from other guests.

In a bid for revenge, Jiang kept making anonymous calls to police in Changchun, capital of Jilin province, falsely reporting the bombs until business was suspended while searches were carried out.
