Boyfriend spends 10,000 on romantic proposal

A woman surnamed Liu accepted without reservation her boyfriend surnamed Zhang's proposal under the romantic scenario he organized recently in Zhengzhou, Henan province.

Zhang booked a VIP room at a local cinema where he invited Liu and 70 relatives to "see an action movie".

But it became obvious as soon as the movie started that Zhang and Liu were its leading actor and actress.

The film consisted of main events in their love story.

The climax came after the movie ended when Zhang proposed on bended knee to Liu, who of course accepted.

All guests other than Liu knew how the evening would end.

Zhang paid a local wedding company 10,000 yuan ($1,470) to help him plan this romantic proposal. The couple will hold a formal wedding ceremony before the end of the year.
