Since Wenchuan earthquake happened, Good House Keeping Magazine has organized a series of “Caring Mother Love Sharing Action” charity events, which include the charity sales and orphan assistance or adoption moves.

After nearly two month’s careful preparations, Good House Keeping Magazine has initialed another round of the “Caring Mother” love donation acts, working closely with China Association of Social Workers, to send caring mothers from Hong Kong, Taiwan and the mailand to bring warmth and comfort, as well as donations, to the orphanage and Hope School in Mianyang and Anyang City in Sichuan.

On the spot, the pop stars, entrepreneurs and volunteers have expressed their deep concern about the teenagers in Sichuan. Wong Hong, the organizer of Taiwan and Hong Kong and an early volunteer of the event, says, “As an artist, we have to use our social influence to call everyone to show care and support for the children.

As a mom, I found the spiritual or mental guidance equals the material help in importance.”

Wen Jie, organizer of the event, the assistant publisher of the Good House Keeping Magazine, disclose details about the trip schedule and donation items. “We’ve received thousands of phone calls and emails from all over the country, which express their wish to adopt an orphan, since we've started the project.

A number of enterprises have offered to provide food, lodging and donation items for the disaster hit area. We’re moved by their action, and charity has always been a cause that Good House Keeping has dedicated to.”
