YINCHUAN,NINGXIA -- More than 1,200 mountaineering fans gathered at Liu Panshan Mountain to push the limits of their stamina in Guyuan, northwest China's Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region on Friday.

These amateur mountaineers started climbing at Yang Jiadian Friday morning, which is located at the western slope of Liu Panshan Mountain, and they have to climb a distance of 7 kilometers to reach the destination, which is the square of the Liupanshan Red Army Long March Museum.
