Chinese award-winning photos in press photo contest

"Dance of Life" by Chinese photographer Li Qiang won the gold medal in the Daily Life category at the 4th China International Press Photo Contest held in Shanghai, March 25, 2008. The photo shows five-year-old Wu Yifei, a leukaemia patient, dances on her bed front of other young patients as her mother wipes her tears in a Beijing hospital. [Xinhua]
