During the exhibition period, which proceeds until Dec 20, lectures on city sculptures and its photography will open for public consumption. Following the lecture, visitors are encouraged to exchange ideas with the photographers.

The exhibition's sponsor, the cultural center of the Ministry of Culture, announced an invite of over ten sculpture masters from Europe and China to create sculptures for Qingdao next year.

As the initiative program of the "Immortal City Sculpture" series, a public art program, the exhibition aims to popularize art among the public by promoting artistic exchanges between cultural cities in East Asia and Europe.
