Teddy bears are arguably the most famous bears in the world. Since the 20th century, cuddly teddies have been children's best friends.

Now, in Shanghai, you can sew your own unique teddy bear at Esther Tseng's new shop.

Tseng was born in Shanghai, then migrated to Hong Kong and studied in New Zealand and England. She says having a teddy bear shop is a dream come true. She has traveled to many countries to see other teddy shops and learned how to make them in Hong Kong.

DIY (Do It Yourself) teddy bears are very popular in some western countries, where the toys originate. Esther believes the number of local teddy-lovers will grow in Shanghai too.

"Shanghai is an international metropolis, I hope my bear shop will attract a lot of teddy-lovers," says Tseng.
