Gold price opens down in Hong Kong

HONG KONG - The gold price in Hong Kong went down 140 HK dollars to open at 15,140 HK dollars per tael on Thursday, according to the Chinese Gold and Silver Exchange Society.
The price is equivalent to $ 1,634.15 a troy ounce, down $ 15.11 at the latest exchange rate of $1 against 7.777 HK dollars.
