A truck collided with four other vehicles, including a van and a sedan, then fell on its side in the city of Tongchuan at around 4:50 pm on Monday, said the publicity department of the municipal Committee of the Communist Party of China in a statement.
Among the 13 injured, five people were seriously hurt.
Ten children, aged between 3 and 5, were among the injured, it said.
