Prize of golf World Cup to hit $7.5 million

HAIKOU - The prize will total $7.5 million at the 2011 golf World Cup to be held in Haikou, capital of South China's Hainan province from November 24 to 27, organizers said.
Seven of the world's top 20 golf players have been confirmed to take part in the elite event, including five champions at the recent eight Golf Grand Slams.
China, who qualify as hosts, will be represented by Liang Wenchong and Zhang Xinjun at the event.
