China tackles 15,000 food safety cases in H1

BEIJING - China's quality watchdog said Wednesday it dealt with 15,000 cases related to food safety in the first half of the year.
The cases involved nearly 100 million yuan ($ 15.63 million),Li Yuanping, spokesman of the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ), said at a press conference.
