The gifts include 6,000 solar power television sets, 710,000 solar torches, 300,000 cold-proof stainless kettles, 710,000 stainless pressure cookers, 60,000 quilts, 150 computers, 120 sets of the Tibetan language version of Chinese Tripitaka, and 10,000 books, and will be given to Tibetan residents, primarily farmers, herders, retirees, teachers and school children, monks in monasteries, and soldiers and armed police, officials with the delegation said.
The gifts express the Communist Party of China Central Committee and the nation's concern toward Tibet, the officials said.
