Boy, grandfather killed in police car accident in SW China

NANNING - A boy and his grandfather died after the bicycle they were riding was involved in a collision with a police car in southwest China Wednesday.
The pair were seriously injured after the crash at 5 p.m. in Longzhou County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, and died later in hospital, said a spokesman for Chongzuo City police Thursday.
Police had detained Shen Yunying, the police car driver who is an officer with the Forestry Public Security Bureau of Chongzuo City, pending further investigations.
