BEIJING: Chinese police and the armed forces raided three dens and arrested 14 suspects for allegedly producing and selling fake drugs on bogus military medical institutions websites, military sources said Friday.
Seven bogus websites were shut down and three forged seals were seized, according to a report from the political department of the People's Liberation Army (PLA).

Nearly 10,000 people nationwide bought the fake drugs online, with the suspects raking in over 1 million yuan ($146,488) in sales, the suspects admitted.
The fake drug sellers fraudulently affiliated their websites with the PLA hospitals to win public trust.
