A home for artists in Chengdu

CHENGDU: Artists in Chengdu now have a new place to go. The local government in the capital of Sichuan province has helped sponsor an "arts home" on an island in Huanhua Park.
The goal is to provide an area for the local artists to assemble, communicate and show their work.
This center's first exhibition, "From Qingyang Temple to Huanhua Stream," officially opened on December 18, drawing over 100 viewers on the first exhibition day.
