VP Xi to visit DPRK, other four nations

BEIJING -- Chinese Vice President Xi Jinping will visit the Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), Mongolia, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Yemen from June 17 to 25, announced Foreign Ministry spokesman Qin Gang here Thursday.
Qin told a regular press conference that Xi, also a member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China (CPC) Central Committee, will pay an official good-will visit to the DPRK from June 17 to 19 at the invitation of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and the DPRK government.
At the invitation of the Mongolian government, Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia Sultan bin Abdul-Aziz, Crown Prince of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad bin Khalifa al-Thani and Yemeni Vice-President Abdal-rab Mansur al-Hadii, Vice President Xi will pay official visits to the above four nations from June 19 to 25, according to Qin.
