Forty-six seriously injured people are in dire need of help in Beichuan county at the epicenter of the Sichuan quake, where the water level of a lake is rising rapidly and the lake may burst its bank at any time, soldiers at the site has warned.

Aftershocks frequently occurred in Chaping area of Beichuan County. Currently, local residents have given up homes and moved to the higher places for the sake of safety.

The information was sent back through China's Beidou-1 navigation satellite by a troop under the Chengdu Military Area Command.
