A huge piece of Hetian jade finally arrived in Shenzhen special economic zone after being transported for six years.

The jade weighs 11 tons, is 3.75 m long, 1.35 m high and 1.44 m wide.

Deng Jianxin, a Shenzhen resident, purchased the jade six years ago in the Xinjiang Uygur autonomous region.

The stone was found in the Kunlun mountains. Every winter for the past six years it was gradually towed by yaks to the main road, a distance of 500 km.

The jade finally arrived in Shenzhen late last week, and cost a total of 30,000 yuan ($4,200) to transport.

Jade experts believe it is worth more than 60 million yuan.
