A 52-year-old man from Beijing's Changping District has developed the eccentric habit of wearing just a T-shirt on cold winter days.

"All the people I meet on my way to work are so surprised when they see me wearing only a T-shirt in winter. Some of them must think I'm insane," Nie Changqing said. "Actually, I got into the habit through a simple exercise."

Six years ago, he began to take cold baths in winter to prepare his body for the shock of winter swimming. Just for fun, he decided to shed his woolen winter clothes in favor of more summery attire.
