Trading something you don't like for something you need has become a new fad on the Internet, and business people in Jinan, Shandong Province, are looking to seize the opportunity by setting up their own trading posts.

A so-called "trading bar" opened in downtown Jinan last week. Dubbed "the first discount store for second-hand name brand products in Jinan", the store was stocked with clothes, shoes, handbags and cosmetics, most of which were second-hand. The shop's owner said she was a fan of online trading and was encouraged by her friends to set up the store. The store has found favor with many online traders, and the owner said all the goods for sale were from her friends.
