A wounded pigeon saved by a woman in Qingdao, Shandong Province, refuses to leave its rescuer, accompanying her everywhere she goes.

About three weeks ago, the woman, surnamed Huang, brought the pigeon home from a roadside, where it was lying with bleeding wings. Thanks to her tender care, the pigeon recovered quickly.

One week ago, Huang set the pigeon free, but it was back in minutes.

Now Huang takes her evening walks with the pigeon standing on her shoulder. She said she will treat the pigeon like a close friend as long as it wants to stay.
