Chinese stocks close higher for a sixth day

BEIJING - Chinese shares rose for a sixth trading day on Monday, sending the benchmark Shanghai Composite Index to 2,447.06, up 7.43 points, or 0.3 percent from the previous close.
The Shenzhen Component Index gained 0.53 percent, or 53.18 points, to end at 10,177.33.
