"Green Made in China" initiative was proposed at the recent Manufacturing Exchange Summit (Jinjiang Station) to promote the sustainable green development of production.

A total of 42 leading enterprises, associations and academies in Fujian province support the initiative and became the first batch of members.

Pan Bingtong, operating director of Made-in-China.com, said the online search for green manufacturing products has seen a surge in recent month, and green products will also be more popular with overseas buyers.

As a big manufacturing country, China has committed itself to the green transformation and upgrading of manufacturing industry in recent years. The government has clearly said that the country should actively build a green manufacturing system and take the path of ecological development.

With the popularization of environmental awareness and the strengthening of environmental protection supervision, green development has become the main topic of enterprise development. Green manufacturing, which only appeared in a few high-quality enterprises in the past, is changing into an entry threshold for companies to participate in market competition.
