Today Art Museum's triennial reveals art as 'A Stitch in Time'

Today Art Museum in Beijing is hosting its grand triennial, the 4th Today's Documents.

Inspired by the complex social, political, economical and cultural changes fracturing the world, curators Huang Du and Jonathan Harris themed this triennial after the saying "A Stitch in Time", which means "it's better to deal with problems early than to wait until they get worse".

To this end, the exhibition has teamed up artwork by 37 artists and artist groups from 16 countries to expose the impact globalization has brought to the world in the arenas of economics, politics and culture. The show also aims to inspire visitors to join hands to build a world that is reconnected and reconstructed.
