Ancient Sound of Dunhuang, an immersive performance featuring reproduction ancient musical instruments and music scores from Dunhuang, Northwest China's Gansu province, was staged on Oct 8, 2019 in the province's capital city, Lanzhou. [Photo/Xinhua]

The show vividly restores the music, dance, poetry and murals of ancient Dunhuang through modern technology, such as lighting, installations and video images, bringing the audience closer to Dunhuang’s time-honored culture.
