It's a custom of the Dai, Lisu and Va ethnic groups living in western Yunnan to eat raw honey, which is generally believed to help people live longer. Rui left her Dai village to work in a city several years ago, however, she could not forget the first bite of raw honey that her father gave to her when she was little. After her father became too old to gather honey, she was motivated to look for the best honey in Yunnan and called herself the "honey hunter". Rui and Guan knew each other through work and then fell in love, so they both quit their jobs to run an online shop.
