The mountain, rising to an altitude of 2,033 meters, and whose peaks are accustomed to snow, is home to one of the country’s largest ski resorts in winter. The national 5A-rated attraction, where reindeers, alpacas, and ponies are free to roam, has already opened to visitors.

Other areas which received a dashing of the white stuff, included Fengjie county, Yunyang county, and Shizhu Tujia autonomous county.
