Acting as China's biggest auto production base, Chongqing municipality has been working on integrating its auto industry resources.

According to the Liangjiang administrative committee, Chongqing is promoting its auto aftermarket e-commerce platform to expand its share of market. The new e-commerce platform is expected to take a greater market share from the traditional auto "4s" (sale, spare part, service, survey) shops and curb their prices, which are considered to be excessive by many.

The auto aftermarket includes areas of auto maintenance, auto beauty and auto modification. In 2014, the auto aftermarket of China exceeded 600 billion yuan ($96.60 billion), this year, the market is expected to be expanded to 700 billion yuan.

In Chongqing's Liangjiang New Area, O2O products for the auto aftermarket are beginning to emerge.

Since 2014, Cheyou Bang Technology Ltd, based in Liangjiang, started to construct the new area's first O2O platform. At present, the platform has approximately 100,000 users and 300 cooperating partners.

"We are constructing a service platform to help users choose shops to facilitate auto maintenance, auto beauty and auto modification. Users can also enjoy a 20 percent discount when booking the services online," said Wang Lei, general manager of Chongqing Cheyou Bang Technology Ltd.
