Hong’en Temple Forest Park is located in Jiangbei district of Chongqing and covers an area of more than 165 acres, making it the largest park in the Chongqing urban area.

A hill in the park reaches 418 meters above sea level, and the observation deck of the Hong’en pavilion – located on its summit - offers views of the districts of Jiangbei, Yubei, Shapingba and Yuzhong, as well as the New North Zone, and is the highest point in the city’s urban area.
