SPC head meets with HK Chief Executive

The head of China’s top court, Zhou Qiang, met with Chief Executive of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region Carrie Lam Cheng Yuet-ngor on Sept 14 in Hong Kong.

Zhou Qiang, chief justice and president of the Supreme People's Court (SPC) of China, held talks with Carrie Lam at the chief executive's office.

Lam welcomed Zhou to Hong Kong where he’s scheduled to attend the “Fourth Seminar of Senior Judges of Cross-Strait and Hong Kong and Macao”.

The two officials witnessed the signing of a judicial cooperation agreement between Secretary for Justice Rimsky Yuen and Supreme People's Court Vice-President Li Shaoping.
