An area of the city of Datong, Shanxi province, has decide to hold a photography event, on Oct 25, to get photography lovers from all over the city interested, working with a local digital store, so that participants can get some free camera maintenance cameras along with other activites.

For example, there will be dozens of cameras available for visitors to use and free teaching by professionals from the city photographers' association, and tips from Cheng Weidong, a prominent photographer and member of China's Photojournalist Society, who will speak about his experience behind the lens. His work is mostly about Tibet and includes "the Ngari Sanai region of Tibet", "Tibet, Mysterious Land", and "Monasteries of Tibetan Buddhism".

The activity is organized by the city's Huabei Xingcheng community and the Zhilong Digital Store as an opportunity for local photography lovers to exchange ideas with each other.
