According to a report by Datong's Tourism Administration, the number of tourists across the city of Shanxi province during the three-day Tomb Sweeping Day holiday, April 5-7, reached 165,000, up 14.74 percent from last year, and gross tourism income reached more than 70 million yuan, up 18.65 percent from 2013.

The total number of visitors reached 120,300 at monitored tourism sites in Datong during the Qingming Festival, realizing a year-on-year increase of 15.21 percent. The major popular scenic spots are Yungang Grottoes，Huayan Temple and Datong's Ancient City Wall.
