Shiyan-Wudang intercity bus service starts operation

A total of 18 energy-saving buses started operating on the Shiyan-Wudang No 202 intercity route on Dec 18, with a flat fare of 4 yuan($0.66)per ride, wudangshan.gov.cn reported.

The buses depart from the Postal Square at Shiyan Railway Station and head to Wudang Mountains scenic area, via Wudang Road, Danjiang Road, Bailang Road, 316 National Road and Liuliping Town, with a total of 31 stops along the route.

The route operates daily from 6:00 am to 20:30 pm. In addition, two bus routes, No 203 and No 205, also started operation on Dec 18, with a flat fare of 2 yuan and 3 yuan respectively.

The No 203 bus route, departing from Wudang Mountains and heading to Liuliping town, runs daily from 6:00 am to 20:00 pm, and the No 205, from Shiyan Railway Station to Liuliping Guanshan, passes through Danjiangkou city and runs daily from 6:00 am to 20:30 pm.

The new bus route, covering Shiyan city, Danjiangkou city and Wudang Mountains Tourism and Economy Special Region, aims to serve more than one million local residents, and are expected to help push forward the development of the Wudang Mountains scenic area.
