Black brick tea

Introduction

Black brick tea is one of the most famous types of black tea in China. It is pressed and mainly produced in Boqi, Xianning, Tongshan, Chongyang, Tongchangmian and other counties of Xianning city, Hubei province. It enjoys a history of more than 100 years.

Products

Black brick tea is in a shape of a rectangular brick and is characterized by its dark brown color, authentic scent, strong taste, reddish yellow clear tea water and dark black thick leaves found at the bottom. Regular black brick tea has the following specifications: 2kg/brick, 1.7kg/brick, 900g/brick and 380g/brick.

Following the immigration of the minority people living on the border of the cities and inland, in order to meet the increasingly diversified demand, Hubei Provincial Zhaoliqiao Tea Factory Co., Ltd. developed a series of black brick tea products for easy serving, such as: special black brick tea, superior black brick tea and quintessential black brick tea.

Ways to drink

Before drinking, the black brick tea is broken into pieces, put into a special pot and soaked in water before being boiled. The tea has a strong and pleasant taste and may clear away the heart fire, keep up spirit, help produce saliva and slake thirst, warm up the body, keep out the cold, relieve dyspepsia, benefit stomach, sterilize and astringe and cure diarrhea. The older the tea is, the better the effect will be.
