Guiyang's scenic spots to be national 4A-level

Southwest China's Guizhou province recently released the list of newly added national 4A-level tourist attractions, in which two out of the 10 attraction are located in the province's capital city Guiyang.

Quanhu Scenic Area in Baiyun district was included on the list. The scenic area opened to the public in 2017 and covers an area of 1,080 mu (72 hectares), in which 750 mu are covered by green plants.

Another attraction to receive designation as a national 4A-level tourist attraction was Lewan international tourism area in Wudang district. It relies on Wudang's geothermal resources and focuses on hot springs tourism, healthy living, and high-end education.

By Jan 11, 2019, Guizhou had 359 A-level tourist attractions, including six 5A-level ones, 111 4A-level ones, 231 3A-level ones, and 11 2A-level ones.
