After his visit to Libei village of Xifeng county, which is deemed the first "Taobao village" of Guizhou, Kim expressed his appreciation to villagers who sell local agricultural products through online channels as a means of eliminating poverty. He also expressed interest in some featured products, including Guizhou Spicy Chicken and Lao Gan Ma hot chili sauce.

While visiting the Guizhou Big Data Comprehensive Pilot Area Exhibition Center, he noted that the province's moderate climate must be an attraction for famous enterprises to set up big data centers there.

During his visit to the Senior Service Center in Guanshanhu district, Kim said that the World Bank would provide extra help to Guizhou's senior services.

"Manbang uses the network platform to improve logistics efficiency, which not only makes the matching of trucks and goods more accurate, but also increases the income of truck drivers," said Kim after his visit to Manbang Group, a Chinese truck-hailing company. The World Bank is willing to cooperate with Manbang by promoting them in developing countries.

From mountainous and impoverished regions to the biggest data center in China, Guizhou's mode of development could serve as an example to other countries and regions hoping to make greater progress in alleviating poverty. The World Bank will deepen cooperation with Guizhou by providing more loans to speed up its development.
