The 4th Guizhou (Anshun) International Stone Expo will be held in Zhenning town in Anshui city, Guizhou province from Aug 26 to 29.
The expo includes four meetings and three competitions and aims to become the most authoritative, complete and interesting stone exchange platform.
It covers an area of 100,000 square meters and has upgraded its scale, facilities and layout from previous years. It has set up five exhibition areas, and approximately 300 domestic and overseas companies will attend the expo.
Visitors can learn about the design, production and processing technology for stones at the expo's photography exhibition.
To expand the international influence of the expo, the China Stone Carving Design Competition will be held concurrently. About 260 stone carving works will be exhibited at the competition, promoting innovation in stone carving in terms of material application, design concepts and carving techniques.
The expo has also attracted approximately 40 exhibitors from large stone production areas such as America, Brazil, Italy, Canada, France, India, Spain, South Africa and more.
As a home to many high quality stones, Guizhou has over 10 billion cubic meters of stone resources and 3.6 billion cubic meters of marbles, while Anshun has become the largest professional stone trading expo center in China.
