Qinglong county held a promotion conference in Guiyang on Dec 1 to flaunt its characteristic industries, tourism products and local specialties to investors to stimulate the local economy and spread its influence.
The county is located in the Qianxinan Bouyei and Miao autonomous prefecture and is a major agricultural area. Therefore, the county has been prioritizing the development of stock farming and “Qinglong Sheep” has become a popular brand in the country.
The conference is part the county’s promotion event, which also includes a food festival at Guiyang’s Huaguoyuan Shopping Mall on Dec 11 and 12. The festival will feature Qinglong mutton, rice noodles and other local specialties.
