The 2nd China Big Data Security High-level Forum was held in the Guizhou capital of Guiyang on May 25 and 26. The forum was part of the city's 2016 International Big Data Expo.
Themed on "Data innovation drive development, Data management guarantee security", the forum invited in excess of 500 guests from government departments, major enterprises, academic institutions, colleges and universities to make in-depth discussions about big data security in terms of strategy, industry, academic research, technology and application.
Vice mayor, Liu Chuncheng delivered the opening speech at the forum. Qing Yu from the Cyberspace Administration of China was also on hand to talk about the country's big data security.
