The Zangke River International Paragliding Invitational Tournament will take place in the city of Liupanshui, Guizhou province, Sept 19-21, for the third time, with this year's event including stunt gliding, tandem jumping, and helicopter and hot air balloon experience, according to the organizing committee.

The tournament, which started in 2012, expects to have more than 80 athletes from China and abroad this year, as well as thousands of tourists and extreme sports fans.
The tournament will be held in the city's Zangke River Scenic Area which has gentle winds, a large elevation difference and open fields suitable for paragliding. While the city of Liupanshui is known as China's "Cool Capital" due to its low average summer temperature.
