A total of 135 beauties from the upcoming 65th Miss World Final will make their debut in Pingtan, East China's Fujian province, Nov 3-4, to help the county promote its tourism industry, according to ptnet.cn.

During their visit, the participants will shoot pictures in Pingtan's major tourist sites such as the Island Ring Road and Tannan Bay.

It is expected that their promotion will help Pingtan go global, enabling the world to know the county, which plays an important role in the county's goal of becoming an international tourist island, said Yao Xiongjun, general manager of Beauty Crown (Pingtan). Yao added that they will also invite the media partners of the Miss World Organization to help with the promotion.
